Vote Safely on May 6th

Because of COVID-19, there will be safety measures in place at polling stations to help you vote safely on Thursday, May 6.

Voters will be asked to:

  • wear a face covering (unless exempt)
  • bring their own pen or pencil
  • use hand sanitiser when entering and leaving the polling station
  • keep to social distancing guidelines and follow any one way systems in place

Voters should not visit the polling station if they have COVID-19 symptoms or have been asked to self-isolate. In these circumstances voters will be able to apply for an emergency proxy vote instead.
